The documents needed for a foreclosure surplus claim depend on the circumstances of the claim and the requirements of the court or agency holding the funds.
You may be asked to provide documents that help establish your identity, your connection to the former property owner, or your legal right to claim the funds. Depending on the situation, this could include identification, death certificates, probate or court documents, or other records related to the claim.
You won't be expected to determine which documents are required on your own. If RnR is handling your claim, we'll let you know what is needed and explain why we're requesting it.
In some cases, additional documentation may be requested after the claim has been submitted. If that happens, we'll work with you to obtain what is needed and respond to the request.
